Welcome to OENZ- Outdoor Education New Zealand. The home of quality outdoor training in New Zealand. Our courses are open to the general public as well as schools and businesses.

We operate from Governors Bay, Lyttelton. You will find that most of our scheduled courses are delivered close to Christchurch. However, We are happy to send instructors to almost any location in New Zealand.

New -Family-friendly training courses

Due to popular demand; we now have a range of family-friendly training courses. Family-friendly training courses are open to everyone, even if you’re an adult travelling alone.

Youths over 12 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian on family-friendly courses. Our standard training courses have an age minimum limit of 18yrs or 16yrs accompanied by a parent or guardian. Have a look at the course calendar for family-friendly course dates.

Transport to and from courses

We now offer a free pick up and drop off service for all of our training courses. Our pick up service has become very popular for people flying into Christchurch. We’ll pick you up from any central city hotel!
